Our Story

We build the tools we always wished existed.

IOWorks was born out of frustration. Every developer on every team we've ever worked on has wasted hours every week on the same admin tasks — writing reports, translating vague requirements, manually creating tickets. We decided to stop complaining and build the fix.

Mission

Give developers back their time.

The average software developer spends 6–8 hours per week on communication overhead: writing status reports, translating client requirements into technical specs, and creating project tickets from meeting notes.

That's a full day of lost engineering time every single week. IOWorks uses AI to automate those six workflows so your team can focus entirely on shipping product.

The point is to give creative people the chance to have more time to focus on their actual creative work during the week.

What We Believe

Our principles shape every product decision.

Built by developers

Creatives have spent years writing reports, translating client emails, and manually creating tickets after meetings. IOWorks exists because they got tired of it.

Automation should be invisible

The best automation you never notice. IOWorks fits into your existing tools — GitHub, Slack, Jira — so there's zero new workflow to learn.

Honest about what AI can and can't do

We show you confidence scores, surface open questions, and never hallucinate data. Our AI is a reliable colleague, not a black box.

Small teams deserve enterprise tooling

The automations that Fortune 500 companies pay consultants for shouldn't require a 12-month contract. We price for the solo dev, the 5-person agency, and the scaling startup.
